Bowlers must check in 30 minutes before scheduled bowling time. All errors must be reported within 24 hours after you bowl.

Rules
· Handicap
o Handicap is based on 80% of 220 from highest 2024-2025 ending league average with 15 games or more.
o 10 pin rule is in effect. If bowler’s current average of 2025-2026 season is 10 pins or higher from last year’s ending average, at the time of bowling their first squad, bowler must use current year’s average
o If no 2024-2025 league average, you may use your current league average with 15 games or more. Current year’s average must be used as of your first squad bowled
o Minimum average of 140 must be used
o If average is derived from sport or challenge pattern leagues, averages will need to be converted to a house shot average. If not disclosed on the entry, your scores may be subject to forfeiture
o Listing of false averages will result in forfeiture of prize money and entry fee
o All others bowl scratch
o Eastway Bowl reserves the right to re-rate anyone at any time before or after the shift bowled
· Multiple Participation
o Multiple participation will be allowed in team and doubles as in accordance with USBC Rule #315.
§ 5 person teams may only consist of the same team members once. To bowl additional team entries, two bowlers need to be changed
§ Doubles bowlers may bowl with the same partner multiple times, but are only allowed to cash with the same partner once
§ Singles event may cash only once
· Doubles / Singles
o Everyone bowling doubles for the first time MUST bowl singles at that time
o Doubles and singles events will be bowled on the same pair with doubles event first
· All Events
o All event payout is 1:10
· USBC Certified
o The 62nd annual Big Sioux tournament will be USBC certified
o All bowlers competing must be USBC certified
